Artist History
The San Diego based hard rock four-piece has been has been hammerin’ southern California since 1997. Originally formed in Sacramento California in 1996, PHYSUL wasted no time in relocating to rock-thirsty southern California. With attitude and drive, the band went straight to work rockin’ the clubs of So Cal. “We’re all about bringing’ hard rock back to the forefront of popular music.” PHYSUL’s own flavor of hard rock is based on classic in-your-face riffs and melodies, but is molded with modern vocals and attitude that give the band its’ unique sound. “These days we’re writing music that is powerful, emotional, and melodic - with grooves that keep the crowds jumpin’. We didn’t set out to try and be different, but when you bring together four guys with such diverse musical backgrounds, you can’t help but churn out music that stands out in the crowd”. PHYSUL can been seen at clubs all around southern California – including The Belly Up, The Whisky A Go-Go, Brick by Brick, BlindMelons, Winstons, and ‘Canes. It goes without saying that PHYSUL is ready to explode all over the airwaves. Engineered by Bryan Stratman, mixed by Gavin Worden, Produced by PHYSUL, and mastered by Eddy Schreyer, PHYSUL’s new EP – CHRYSALIS - represents a small taste of what PHYSUL has in store for their fans. Pick up a copy and find out for yourself. PHYSUL is: Gavin – Lead vocals and rhythm guitar. Dave – Lead guitar and backing vocals. Cale – Bass guitar, keyboards, and sampling. Manuel – Drums and percussion. PHYSUL’s story has only just begun. With out a doubt, the best is yet to come.
