Artist History I was born in Osage, Arkansas, the youngest of 14 children.Music has always been a big part of my life, since most of mysiblings and I play instruments and sing.I got my BIG career started at the age of 4. My daddy would take me to the little general store,set me on the counter, where I would sing "Dear John" and "Bimbo", as long as anyone gave me money.I started sneaking into the bars at 15 and beggingthe band members to let me sing. They were very kind and allowed me to sing 3 or 4 songs before they threw me outfor being underage. In the late 60;s, I moved to Oklahoma City, Ok. andstarted performing in nearby cities, as well as Oklahomacity. I did shows in Duncan, Lawton, Chickasha, andMidwest City.I then moved to Ft Smith, Ar and did the club scenethere, until I got into entertaining troops at Ft. Chaffee. This led to also performing for troops in Ft. Leonard Wood,Ft. Sill, and Ft. Hood. I did shows both the NCO Clubs and Officers Clubs. I really loved doing that.I later did some tours in Central USA.However my biggest thrill has been getting to go to Europe and perform there in 1998. The people there are very refreshing and the country is beautiful.
