Artist description
Xenohelia is the brainchild of NY trombonist/composer Josh Roseman. The music is sophisticated but hard grooving - it has been described as a meeting between Lee "Scratch" Perry and Charles Ives. Roseman is perhaps best known for his recording work with the Groove Collective, the Brooklyn Funk Essentials, Dave Douglas, Cibo Matto, Steve Coleman, Lester Bowie, the Roots and others. |
