Artist History
The first song I learned was Motley Crue "Too Fast for Love", the latest song I learned is Vilambit Jog by my guru Ustad Habib Khan. I studied music composition at UMKC and UNT with an emphasis on electro-acoustic music. Along the way I have studied a little bit of Javanese and Balinese gamelan, Karnatic rhythm with Poovalur Srinivasan, and Ghanaian drumming with Gideon Alorwoyie. My main interest these days is the sitar which I study with Ustab Habib Khan. |
