Home, love, and domesticity are recurring themes, beginning with the longing of the title cut and holding truethroughout. Photoglo crafts highly accessible songs in the Fogelberg/JT mold, and this time out he co-writes with some of the best, including Paul Williams, Gary Burr, Jon Vezner, Matraca Berg, and Bob DiPiero. The whole package is mighty easy on the ears, with the largely acoustic arrangements suitable for both country and AC/adult standards formats. I've known Photoglo as a songwriter for so long, I'd completely forgotten what a potent performer he is. Back in the early 1980s he charted memorably a couple of times. But this is something else entirely, an ocean current of dark-green mystery. I fell into it and floated. Never even came up for air. What a disc.
