Artist description
Jeff Engholm is a unique songwriter using a plethora of styles. "Summit Climb" itself is mostly Jeff multi-tracked, with a little help from his friends. Heavy on vocals and rich, jazzy chords, the eclectic rhythms and influences on this album will keep you guessing and, perhaps, singing. There is a spiritual aspect that will move you, yet a clever part that will make you smile. |

Artist History
Jeff Engholm is a man unto himself, but now he does have a band called the Collective Unconscious. They perform his songs from the album and other originals. Jeff is a performer from way back, in both musical theater and live music. The music on this album comes from his diverse influences of being a jazz bass player, a blues player, an actor, a wedding singer, a theatrical director, producer and all around nice guy. The guys on the record have become the Collective, and the next record from Hunny Nut Studios (thier studio) will probably under the Collective's name. |
