Music Style alternative metal

Artist History Electric Chair started as a rebound project for Bill Hines in the year 2000. The songs on the first cd were written and recorded for the most part during june and august of 2000, and a few songs were done into the fall. The album Waiting... was released in the fall of 2000 as an instrumental record testing songs on the public. for the most part it was recieved well, charting high on the mp3.com alternative metal charts. no shows in support were possible due to the band falling apart because of personal issues. Since the album came out, the band has been on extensive hiatus, doing only internet promotion. The follow-up to E has been long in the process. about 40 songs have been developed over time ranging from electronic to industrial to their roots in alternative metal. The album is in its final stages of being put together and should be out before the summer of 2002, and probably will be available with IUMA. Bill has stuck with drummer extrodinare, Preston Lane, from his old band to work with him, and is in the process of interviewing singers, lead guitarists, and bass players, to play shows with in the los angeles area.
