Albums Angel Of Freedom is Zone's fourth album to date and their first in 6 years. Angel Of Freedom comprises of 12 tracks resulting in a 60 minute collage of varying musical traditions and sounds, always diverse, always different. Starting with a whisper the album suddenly launches into the pulsating rhythm of Other Lives, a song that introduces Zone's collaboration with vocalist and lyricist Jeremy Gluck. The album then follows with a wide gamut of musical styles ranging from the free- form New York jazz style of Totality to the luxurious evocative sound-scapes and intricate rhythms of The Dramatic Universe, Frozen In Heaven, Angel Of Freedom & Golden Rain, interspersed with the minimal, though transcendent,piano pieces Herald Of Coming Good and Eros. Further vocal tracks include the innocent Face To Face, the intense Declaration Of Nothingness and and the hypnotic Exorcising Attachment. The album finally climaxes with the pounding rhythm and musique concrete of Scavenging Soul presenting the perfect backdrop for Jeremy Glucks second poetic contribution The Benefactor. Though maintaining Zone's philosophy of "Unity In Diversity" "Angel Of Freedom" represents a new lease of life and a new vitality for Zone.

Press Reviews "Zone tell us that their one aim is to communicate to the listener Love, Light and Life. Yes, it does sound a little bit twee. But, against all expectation Born of Fire succeeds. This is a mature, perfectly poised album. At times it's serene and delightful, as on Beautiful Machine, which announces itself with a single bold chord, going on to combine Gregorian chant, bright, clear piano, bells and soft synths to create something refreshing and beautiful. At others, it becomes more intense, creating a shimmer of wailing sound via peculiarly harmonised synths and rhythmic percussion, although it's never overbearing.
