Artist description
Poor Kids Without Cable are a band who truly cares about all music. They definately shine in the quality and lyrical content category. Their music can best be described as catchy, positive, lyrically and musically sound. It is hard to place this band in one specific category. Every song is completely different from the last, yet each one has a definite "Poor Kids" distinctive sound. The quality of this project and each individual song is amazing! This is not your typical "MP3" band. Please take a listen for yourself. |

Artist History
Poor Kids Without Cable was started back in 1995 under the name of "SkinFlowerS" and originally contained 3 members. The "SkinFlowerS" recently changed their band name to "Poor Kids Without Cable" after they found another "SkinFlowerS" on the Web. Poor Kids added a lead guitarist in 1998 and proceeded to record their first album "Wither and Fade" in the studio. Poor Kids have opened for bands such as "The Choir", "77's", "P.O.D."and several other major label bands. Members of the band have also opened for artists such as "DC Talk", "Michael W Smith", and many more. Poor Kids decided to spread their gifts and talents on the Web in 2000 and here we are! Enjoy. |

Press Reviews
"Wow... this is definitely superior stuff here. It definitely goes somewhere - several places, actually. Impressively unpredicatble. The vocal harmonies throughout the chorus smartly mirror the emotion in the instrumentation..." - CTRL-ALT-ZINE @ MP3.COM . . . . . "Yours is the first Christian Rock I could ever stomach. Usually it's so heavy handed and I feel like I am getting thumped in the head... Anyway, I guess what I mean is that these songs stand on their own whether or not they are "CR". - MP3.com Viewer Mail . . . . . "Normally I don't listen to too many of the groups on mp3.com becuase I've not been impressed with the "professional" sound of the music. But you guys are entirely different!" - MP3.com Viewer mail . . . . . "Hey guys, I was listening to your songs and you guys rocked.
