    Artist description
NoteWyrke is a group of electronic and acoustic musicians, including two Medical Doctors interested in the effects of music on mood and brain states. They compose and play using linked Pentium 3 PCs loaded with proprietary auditory, musical and EEG Biofeedback software interfaced with Roland XP synthesizers and other keyboards, Roland samplers, Roland Drum Machines, acoustic drums and guitars. Their music is developed using the effects of various rhythms and melodies which stimulate those natural brain states associated with altered states of consciousness, such as alpha and theta trance states, rapid eye movement (dreaming) states, as well as endorphin rush states.
    Music Style
A unique and powerful integration of Ambient-Trance-Goth-Techno-Goa that seeks to induce brain wave entrainment, targeting alpha and theta brain wave states (relaxed meditative alertness).
    Musical Influences
Kraftwerk, ELP, Orb, Chick Corea, Santana, The Zombies, Blue Oyster Cult, Vangelis, Nine Inch Nails
    Similar Artists
Banco de gaia, Orb, Vangelis & Jon Anderson (working together), D:Fuse, Kraftwerk, and some of Emerson Lake and Palmer.
    Artist History
NoteWyrke was formed in late 1999 when the two Physician members of the team decided to apply their work in brain states and auditory neuroscience. They recently completed their first CD, BRAIN Stim Dreams.
    Group Members
NeuroDoc has played keyboards on and off for over 30 years (literally since childhood), except for a respite during the years in which he was in medical school and residency training. Prior to that period, he played in groups that played on stage with and opened for Jimi Hendricks, Janice Joplin, Blood Sweat and Tears, The Association, Sly and the Family Stone, the Temptations, The Tams, and Country Joe and the Fish. PsychDoc has been playing guitar and bass and writing songs for over 10 years but only recently found time to actualize his musical talents. His interests focus on guitar synthesizer effects and vocals. SKINS is a natural percussion genius who recently joined the group, and specializes in acoustic and synthesized percussion instruments. Krynne Jabberwock is a synthesizer and computer jock, and the group's lyrics composer, and art director.
