Artist description
Mr.Monocle is a cad of the highest order, often to be seen gaddng about town.He was exiled from England in the mid part of the last century, after spiking queen Victoria's Tea with opium in an attempt to seduce her.His Father, Roald Monocle, was of the opinion that he should follow the path of the classical masters, but during his enforced absence, the heat and the flies took their toll, and Monocle junior penned a selection of fever induced anecdotes drawn from his hallicinations whilst in his laudinum stupor. It was during one of theses hallucinations, that he met "Vantage Plunk"...part human, part hallucination, part time.Vantage was a merry trickster, who delighted in reverant japesting and gentle ribbing, and would fall in and out of adventures willy nilly......Often dragging along the aloof Mr.Monocle.Much to his chagrin, but luckily, Monocle always had the good sense to carry his 20th century VHS camera with him (he found the skeleton of one and from its DNA reconstructed it..It had been dropped thousands of years ago by future time travellers....)what a sensible fellowThese are the collected stories and songs from their adventures. |
