Press Reviews
[ MP3-Magazine 10/00 - www.mp3magazine.co.uk] Dancinī Venus --- Potsdamīs SteVan G makes house music of the deeper variety, with nods to both disco and jazz thrown in for good measure. Hear some pleasingly subtle conga rythms are overlaid by a jazzy piano line, nice mellow synth washes and the occasional bird noise. Itīs noodle-tastic! [ Artist of the Week - reviewed by LeftHands ] DJ Stevan G. He is not famous for chart-breaking and earning 10.000$ a month. But still he is one of the most respected and well-named mp3.com house producers. His music doesn't sounds like somebody else's music. He's got his own style.Imagine a mix of latin percussions, deep basslines and soft synths based oncomplicated beats when you could not even catch is it 130 or 65 bpm... His houseis latin house, french house and german house at the same time. It's not a numberof varied loops, it always sounds like real live music. You can dance to it in aclub or spend a night with your girlfriend listening to these chillig tunes. Someof them make you relax (Dancin Venus), some make you move like hell (Platz Da!).And don't forget to check out beautiful downtempo songs (like Moods)and outstandingremixes for Josef Saddler (here's one of them). Why are you still reading this? Go and get some real house music by this real house music producer called Dj Stevan G! |
