Artist description
The Listings are a three piece rock band from CT. With enchantingly violent beats, Mozart hip hop bass licks, and a guitar sounding like a car wreck or a peaceful dream. Which are intertwined with lyrics/vocals that make us feel complete. This band is redefining music as we know it....REAL.... INDEPENDENT.... UNINHIBITED... This band will remind you of why you even listen to music. |

Artist History
The Listings started in the late 1990’s with Gene Gallagher (singer, songwriter, and guitarist) and an array of come and go musicians. In 1999, Eric Bowerman (bass player) and Gene started playing together and rehearsing for a local gig. It wasn’t long before Gene met Jeff Coleman(drummer), and the three started practicing in the Gene room, a very small practice space. After a couple months The Listings released a 10 song LP called "Live at Laszlo's". A slow core folk record. This was their first independent release. After some time off for Jeff and Eric, Gene was experimenting with other musicians and turned the sound into heavy guitar driven rock. After a couple of local gigs the Gene, Eric, Jeff Listings trio reunited and began rehearsing the new sound |
