Artist description SELEKTED FEW has been a production team for about a year. They belong to the hip-hop crew known as CRIME FAM CLICK. They are signed to CRIME FAMILY RECORDS, a label founded by MP Tha Lyrical Arson. Along with producing MP's solo album INCINERATION, they have produced songs for fellow C.F.C. member Emphatic, as well as C.F.C. affiliate PYROMANIAC. Switch and MP are cousins and have known each other all their lives. Switch met Madd Ness in 1995 after they were both forced to move to Maine, and the two have been friends ever since. In 1999, MP moved from Hamilton, Ontario to Maine to live with Switch, and go to school there. Before moving to Maine, MP and his partner Smooth Verse, together known as Northern Exposure, completed their first album VEHEMENT OATH. Before SELEKTED FEW became a team, MP produce the hype beat for the C.F.C. single "IT AIN'T OVER YET (REMIX)." The 3 became a production team in 1999, to produce all of the beats for the MP solo joint "INCINERATION." Every beat for "INCINERATION" was done by SELEKTED FEW. The album is set to drop in early to middle May 2000. Some of the tracks from "INCINERATION" have been played on a local radio show THE CONNECTION(89.7). M.P. has also appeared live a few times on THE CONNECTION, and opened a concert for Boston hip-hop group "The Skitzofreniks." SELEKTED FEW will be working on the upcoming C.F.C. compilation album.
