    Artist History
Having been raised in a family environment that centered on the Entertainment Industry, Hannah Clive knew from an early age, the routine and hard work that would be necessary to excel and succeed in the Music Business. As a Six year old English girl in Ireland, Hannah began her musical training, taking up the piano. By the age of Eight, Hannah's musical abilities had already begun to blossom as she had become fully fluent as a talented young classical pianist, playing concerts and recitals to large capacity audiences. At the young age of Ten, Hannah was recipient to the prestigious "Speech and Drama Award" from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. At the time, Hannah was commended for being the youngest hopeful to have ever received the award. Hannah was delighted at the age of Eleven when she auditioned for, and received a part in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Evita" which ran in London's Theatre District, The West End. Hannah's tenancy with the production lasted a full Eighteen Months while Hannah juggled her schoolwork with two weekly performances. At the impressionable age of Twelve, Hannah decided to complement her already impressive musical competence by starting her classical flute training. Hannah soon displayed the same natural musical aptness in her flute performances and recitals that she had displayed on the piano so many years before. By the age of 15, Hannah had become an accomplished singer and songwriter. At her first opportunity to showcase her songwriting ability, Hannah sang to an audience of over 2,000 at London's Hammersmith Palais. By the time Hannah had reached the age of Seventeen, she had assembled a band and was performing regularly at such legendary London venues as "Ronnie Scot's" & "The 606 Club". Turning heads and ears wherever she would perform, audiences began to take her and her music more seriously. In 1990, Hannah and her Father performed the Judy Garland & Fred Astaire classic, "We're a Couple of Swells" to an audience of over 5,000. The performance was in aid of The London Federation of Boys Clubs. In 1992, Hannah was asked to perform with Right Said Fred in aid of "Comic Relief '92". The group recorded the hit single "Stick it Out" on which Hannah contributed multiple backing vocals. In 1993, "Right Said Fred" decided that they were once again in need of Hannah's services. Hannah provided vocals for 2 tracks on the album "Sex and Travel". Toward the end of 1993, "The Hannah Clive Band" was in full swing. Hannah had begun her first serious studio efforts as the band played regularly around London and had the occasional date abroad. In a relatively short period of time, Hannah's band had acquired a following and a significant degree of local notoriety. In 1994, Hannah was presented with an opportunity to take part in the "Roger Daltrey Sings the Music of Pete Townshend" Tour. Hannah was assistant to the tour manager and for three months, visited nearly every major city in The United States. Hannah had her first taste of "Life on the Road" and was able to experience a different side of The Music Industry. Later in 1994, Hannah attended an after show party for "Pink Floyd" in Toronto, Canada where she encountered a chance invitation to perform with David Gilmour. Hannah and David performed "All Along The Watchtower" to a crowd of "Pink Floyd"'s friends and crew. In 1995, Chris De Burgh caught wind of Hannah's singing capabilities and promptly asked Hannah to be a part of his forthcoming album, "This Way Up". Hannah performed on the track, "Blonde Hair - Blue Jeans". In 1996, Hannah was asked to sing with Ray Charles on his album, "Strong Love Affair". Hannah performed with Ray on the track, "No Time to Waste Time". Later in 1996, Hannah was approached by "OMD" ("Orchestral Maneuvers In the Dark") and asked to contribute vocals to their upcoming album, "Universe". Hannah sang on two of the tracks, one of which, "Walking On The Milky Way", achieved Top Ten status. In 1997, Hannah decided that it was time to pick up the guitar. She learned a few songs, some other basics and was soon performing "solo" and applying her prior musical knowledge to the guitar. During 1998, Hannah traveled to Belgrade in the former Yugoslavia to perform at a benefit concert in aid of Yugoslav children that were victim of war. Despite the certainty that the show would be played at an outdoor arena in the middle of a war zone, the band played on to an ecstatic crowd of nearly 10,000 and the concert was simulcast to a radio audience spanning both Western and Eastern Europe. More recently, Hannah has found time to record material for her own project. Hannah has once again assembled a new band but with a more organic approach to music than previous efforts. Hannah has deemed that other changes were necessary to achieve her goals in the studio, which is why she has become Producer to the recordings as well as taking an active interest in the technical side of the production. In the summer of 2001, Hannah revealed the official band Website that boasts an impressive music library, videos of concerts and gigs, dozens of photos and much more. The Website has taken Hannah and her music to a Global level with a flurry of music fans visiting the Website from countries spanning every continent. Armed with a fresh new sound, a new approach and of course, the new lineup, Hannah is about to unveil the new material. Up until now, she's just been getting warmed up.
