Artist description Mr. Zann's full name is ERICH ALLEN ZANN.Mr. Zann creates a world where dark shadows lay on you and subtle strings tickle your soul.Mr. Zann's debut Seraph release, "Shadow and Dream," was recorded with the help of Mykel Boyd of the American group, Angelhood. It is experimental, ambient, neo-clasical soundtrack music.Mr. Zann started recording music in 1992 at the age of 22.Mr. Zann was born in Europe to musician parents who traveled the world playing music, but never recorded an album.Mr. Zann is inspired by artists like Bosch, Bacon, and Kokoshka. Films by Hitchcock and books by Kafka, Poe, and Miller.Mr. Zann collaborated with Angelhood's frontman Mykel Boyd on a tape ep called "Process Electric One" which is now out of print.Mr. Zann like modern music like Merzbow, Tindersticks, Nick Cave, and Mazzy Star.Mr. Zann has been to India to record insects.Mr. Zann wants to visit Prague.Mr. Zann says "Shadow and Dream had a deep effect on my nervous system while recording. I lost 40 pounds and had to have 2 weeks of bedrest afterwards."Mr. Zann is working on the follow up to "Shadow and Dream" called "Solar Lodge" - based on sun cycles and Austin Spares death posture.
