    Artist description
[enVision] is a synth industrial rock unit combining a smattering of influences from the worlds of pop, rock, metal, and electronic music. [enVision] was birthed in 1999 out of the ashes of the worship rock band, Visionary. The purpose of [enVision] is to carry on the original purpose of Visionary--to create artistically relevant and original music with a culturally relevant message of hope. Through [enVision], listeners will learn that there is an Answer, there is Truth, and there is a Hope for every person...and it's not far from each and every one of us. The music of [enVision] challenges, enlightens, gives hope, and exalts the only One who matters in all of our lives.

    Artist History
The project, [enVision], started out in 1997 as the band Visionary, which was the fulfillment of a long-term dream. Unfortunately, the members of Visionary neglected to consider their purpose in making music and soon felt themselves going different directions. As a result, Visionary disbanded in 1998 leaving a multitude of untouched original material--and a dream--on the shelf for a year. In 1999, the former lead vocalist of Visionary, Tory Larson, began to kindle an interest in creating electronically-based music. Over a period of 8 months--on and off--the instrumentation for "The Wait" was assembled and the song was recorded and released on mp3.com and ACIDplanet. The song was reasonably well received, and this encouraged Tory, now operating under the moniker of [enVision], to continue to pursue electronic music and song writing. Throughout 2000 and 2001, Tory has continued to write and release material, finally assembling the first demo, "bloody tree" in June of 2001. In July 2001, Ballistic Test Productions (http://www.mp3.com/stations/btp) picked up [enVision] as part of its artist roster. Personal note from Tory Larson: I guess the most cathartic moment of the [enVision] project for me was the recording and release of the song "Bloody Tree," which I penned about 5 years ago. The song was originally written for Visionary and was shelved until one night God birthed it in my heart to begin working on it. The result is wonderful...and exactly what I dreamed Visionary could be. I thank God for the chance to give this another shot...and I fully intend to do my level best for Him this time around!
