Artist History
DUM(B) began in March 2000 as an all-girl riot grrl band from Indiana, PA. The band went on hiatus through most of 2001 while
Pina and Sour Apple searched in vain for a new grrl drummer and guitarist. The Sisters of Fury were ready to hang it up; then, in August, they discovered a green-haired architect malcontent guitarist, now their beloved Novocain. Sour Apple had an awesome drummer right under her nose (she married him) and Big Wayne, DUM(B)'s former chief of security, completed the new lineup. The DUM(B)founders were bummed they had to settle for guys, but at least they can play ;-)
UPDATE: Pina Colada and Novocain have moved back from NYC, engaged and ready to ROCK! DUM(B) has already started booking shows and writing new songs. Check us out! |

Press Reviews
Western Pennsylvania isn't exactly a hotbed of grrl bands and feminism.
Some of our initial press reviews were hilariously hostile. We did get
very nice reviews in Metal Maidens Magazine in March 2001 and September 2002. |
