Artist description Dimonet was formed in 1998 in Phoenix, AZ, and wasted no time becoming one of the Valley of the Sun’s most original bands. Longing to rid the stereotype that the only sound that could come out of Phoenix would be the Gin Blossoms, Dimonet combines a fusion of jazz / funk / groove / and rock influences which results in a fiercemelody of liquid sounds. From hook to hook, listeners find themselves entranced, and most of the time, moving to the beat with this band that has such a refined ability to find the right feel for the song.All of the members of Dimonet have been playing and involved in the local scene for years. Already, they have attracted quite a steady and VERY loyal following in Phoenix and surrounding areas. They have opened up for national acts that have come through town, and have even secured corporate sponsorship from notablecompanies and local radio stations for some of their larger shows. Several clubs have even offered regular nights because Dimonet can continuously provide a large, energetic crowd.Along with a great live presence, Dimonet has just released their second album, Attention Control Room. This album provides the result of collaboration with renowned studio veteran, Ron Nevison. Greeted with enthusiastic reviews and aggressive sales, this album is the follow up effort to the 1999 release, Name Brand Aesthetic.
