Artist description
Lets face it, music needs to change. Mainstream music that is. Intelligent music needs to be in the mainstream to prevent the social brainwash of the ignorant. Basically, what I am trying to do , is to make music for my words. My words, much the contrast of my outside personaltity, are those of fear and understanding. Understanding that what we see is not what we get. i feel if I am going to say somehting to mass amount I might as well say something important. |

Artist History
It all started as a ten year old boy. I was a boy raised on academics and athletics. As I grew older I wanted to understand things. Instead of listening to what they told me I was somewhat of a skeptic. I soon found a love for art and poetry. Poetry was totally "un cool" so I expessed myself in the "cool" form of rapping. Now at ten I had no rhythym so I just wrote raps but never performed them. One day, while playing with the recorder on the computer, me and a friend performed a rap. It was really bad but it helped to fuel a great interest in recording and rapping. At 14, I liked to rap about my lifestyle, which at the time was alot of partying. They were all in good fun but I would soon find "enlightenment" in writing about more important things. I found therapy in getting these things out of me. Things that normal goofy guys like my self couldn't say because no body would take them seriously. Around the same time I was just beginning to mess around with the whole recording process. This era spawned some of my most forgettable peices but proved to be a great learning experience. Years later I think I almost understood a thing or two. I finally wised up and bought some equipment. The karaoke machine would no longer be my whole studio. I bought a new keyboard and used the six track on it to make some interesting beats. I didnt hesitate to use the karaoke to record them. I brought these recording to a recording studio using a gift certificate my mother gave me and produced a 4 song demo. I learned that the wrongly recorded instrumentals werent cutting it. I also learned how you can get ripped off in a recording studio. An idea came through my head to write a concept album but I thought that would be too difficult a task. I just started to write songs and sooner than I knew it it was actually becoming the concept ALBUM THAT i HAD WANTED It TO BE. This time I skipped the whole recoding studio process and did it myself. I gained much knowledge from this process. I also saved a pretty penny. This is what you hear. |
