Artist History M.A.R.S. is Carl Mathieu. Carl started to play piano at the age of 3. At the age of 5, he was composing. He recorded his first professional record at the age of 8 and when he was 14, recorded his first album with the group Pioneers. Carl, then, went studying acting and cinema; those are passions that last since then. Carl won several musical contests and was given, in 1994, the "most promising new talent" prize in "La relève musicale Québécoise". After that, he went composing for theater plays, short films and then came his passion for electronic music. M.A.R.S. is an experimental project that will be presented this fall.
