Artist History
Brundlefly released their first CD "locked in this house" on the Tonic label in Canada. Unlike many independent bands, they ended up with radio play on both commercial and college stations in Canada and the Northwestern U.S. Things broke open when Much Music, started playing the video for the single "It May Rain". That song and others from the CD ended up in several soundtracks for both film and television, ranging from a Seattle whitewater Kayaking video to a moving scene in the award winning film "Rollercoaster". Lead by Ian Somers who writes the music, sings and plays guitar the four man group is completed by Shane Turner on bass, Glen Delukas on keyboards and guitar, and Chris Copeland on drums. Ian Somers was also an original member of the well-known Universal recording act `Limblifter'. Brundlefly are currently putting the finishing touches on their second cd with producer Todd Simko (Jordi Birch, capital /Sean McDonald, network etc.) and are getting set for an upcoming release. |
