Musical Influences
Judas Priest and most other great 80's "Pure Metal" bands along with the great Steve Vai and Shrapnel Records type guitar Gods. My musical influence only begins there however, there is so much wonderful music (much of it found right here at MP3.COM) in the world of many different styles... and of course there are all those tunes wandering in our own minds.... |

Artist History
TYT FIT (pronounced Tight Fit) started as a high school Heavy Metal band in Utah around 1980. Not much ever happened with the original lineup and the members disbanded around 1984. Dave, the founder and lead guitarist, had a dream and independently continued to expand his musical, song writing, and guitar talents, later moving to California. During his four years in CA, Dave hooked up with a 70's-80's heavy rock drummer and a blues rock bassist to combine three unique styles into a great weekend jam band. Now, several years, and a lot of life later, Dave has assembled Daymo-Rykatay Studio and unified himself to once more see the unique musical style of TYT FIT live again, producing some exquisite new music and sounds. |
