Artist History
After being "classically trained" in the piano when I was young and messing around with the guitar in junior high, I was introduced to electronic music. I began composing and producing tracks under the name Palivacinni over the summer of 1999. I started out using just free software drum machines and synthesizers from the internet, but over time have upgraded my setup to include a variety of hardware and software for synthesis, recording, and production. My goal is to create electronic music that isn't as numbingly repetitive and unexpressive as most people unfamiliar with techno believe it to be, while at the same time keeping my sounds and production up to date with electronic trends. My style varies from down-tempo trip-hop to progressive trance thanks to a wide variety of influences, such as Hybrid, Orbital, Aphex Twin, and Paul Van Dyk. |
