Artist History In 1999, Encylclopedia Brown officially began to record on CD, under the name MC Orrin Hatch. Before, it had been on tapes under many MC monikers. These include Werewolf Corn, BR Judy, Cocktail, Super Bird, and Woody ALlen's Illegitamite Son. After watching some movies and drinking Diet Cokes, he knew it was time to take it to the next level. He wanted to give something back to the musical force that had given him so much. Encyclopedia Brown, subject of the age-old sleuth books for kids, holds much meaning. It is a way to express a childish nature in rapping, as well as the ability to spot fakers and really wack people like Nelly or anyone on Cash Money, for that matter.
