Artist description
Totally original compositions from scratch, with heavy trance influences, don't know that you could technically call it trance, however. I very much like the idea of mixing classical instruments in with the electronic ones (i.e. Brainbug's "The 8th Dwarf"). I try to place an emphasis on the melody of a song. This marks a re-entry into composing for me after a few years of inactivity. The tools have changed, and my style and interests have changed. I may be a bit rusty to start, and I'm not totally comfortable with using the tools, so expect some improvement as I go on. |

Artist History
I started out composing MIDI music around 1993 and became fairly prolific with that for a few years before I gradually lost interest - MIDI was getting a bit too restrictive for me. The name Lord Zod emerged as a joke between a friend and I as I began to get into Techno/Trance and go out to raves. As I listened to more and more of this music, I started to get fresh ideas for making my own, and finally I got interested enough to sit down and start putting some stuff together. Using Lord Zod as my artist name seemed appropriate, and thus, here I am. |
