Artist History
Larry and Ernie Leblanc are brothers who have been performing country music for over tghirty years. After coming to the Lord in the 1980's they began focusing on country gospel. In the summer of 1998, they were joined by Bob Marquis on lead guitar and started playing for mid-week serices at Amazing Grace Ministry in Woburn, Ma. Pastor Frank Tamilio of that church hosted a nightly radio program called, "Selah", and they adopted the name of their group.Bob Marquis is the director of a prison ministry called, "New Beginnings",which involves speaking at a number of churches. The trio then decided to become a musical outreach of that ministry and palying at various churches which supported Bob,Larry and Ernie have written many of their own songs and whereas their roots are gounded in country gospel they have expanded their repetoire to also include traditional hymns and some contemporary Christian music.Their first CD called, "The Selah Three",endeavors to present a mixed balance of their music and we trust that the songs they have chosen will mainster to you as well as exalting the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. |
