Artist History
Store Brand was originally formed at the beginning of the summer of 2000 by Justin Noble, Ryan Grodi, and Albert Engle as a vocals/guitar/bass trio. A couple of months later, Griff Hickman joined up to add drums. Then, after a musical dispute, Griff was kicked out and veteran drummer Chad Smith (NOT the RHCP Chad Smith) was invited to join the group. Eventually, however, Chad was booted from the group because of band policy, and Griff was welcomed back with open arms. With the original four back together, Store Brand went into the studio to record their debut album "$7 Crap". Soon after it's release, Ryan and the band decided it would be in both party's best interests to part ways. Now Store Brand continues to make music and perform as a trio, with Justin picking up the lead guitar duties. |
