Artist History I broke into the music world through turntablism under the name DJ aJay for Da Linka Records. I released the EP Impact in June 2000 under Da Linka Records and Platinum 44 Records. The album didn't sell because I was in denial of the fact that I was making beats and tried marketing my album as songs, and Platinum 44 and Da Linka Records both wound up out of business. I floated along as a web designer and Internet radio host and producer for the Da Linka Network before I finally decided to get back in music due to the fact that I never got to release an LP for my fans. After a two year absence, I'm back producing beats and working on the new Impact, an album displaying my lyrical talents.
