Artist History
I've been writing songs as long as I can remember. I remember getting started with synthesizers in the mid-80s (My first Drum Machine was a Boss DR-606 which I begged my parents to buy me.)I cut my teeth in a bar band playing Rhodes and B3 during the first couple years of college. After that, I went to Nashville to make my fortune. Since fortune had other plans, I wound up interning at a recording studio under the tutelage of Mike Clute... engineer extraordinaire. One day in '95 while browsing the web with what must have been Netscape 1.0, I clicked on 'View Source' and subsequently took a hiatus from music while I rode the internet wave through the rest of the 90's. With my technology hangover wearing off, I'm back to writing and recording in my spare time. I call these songs the 'Artifacts of my Annoying Hobby' in deference to my wife who had to sit through at least 30 different mixes of 'Good Day To Die' and my neighbors who are lamenting the hyper-accurate response of my new Mackie HR-824's below 50Hz.

(Good Day To Die) "I think it's a really good guitar-pop song that sounds quite bit reznor-esque in the beginning, but in the chorus it sounds a bit more pop. The production is good and so is the singing. I would give it a listen if I were you..."

Bitshift rules!!!!! Their song "Good Day To Die" reminds me of this group called FAT who put out an amazing record in 1998 that never got any respect.Bitshift mixes awesome loud guitars with an irresistably catchy and meaningful chorus. I had to listen to this one 5 times in a row it was so good! Made me buy the DAM cd. Nuff said
