Artist History
Studio Project that has blossomed into a full-length dance album. Rob Pride, (music production/keys) met Roz Landman, (vocals, lyrics) in late 1999 while working on another project.
They soon started collaborating together on the side, (a project which has now become "Aurra.")
Rob has an extensive technical and musical background. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 1996, he went on to do work with artists such as Aerosmith, Desmond Child, Tommy Shaw (Styx), Olivia Newton-John and Kike Sandenda (Gloria Estefan's producer).
Roz Landman's musical background started in the classical vein. She graduated from UMass Amherst in 1994 with a minor in vocal performance. After graduation, Roz explored singing pop music and found a lot of satisfaction in writing and recording her own compositions. She has an extensive background in performance. She currently sings with the GB band, "Charisma", she has sung back up for various bands in the Boston area, and also does on-going studio work.
The combination of Rob's technical and musical knowledge along with Roz's powerful voice and emotional lyrics create a dynamic sound. The result is a solid combination funky R&B/Pop and high-energy dance music.
