Press Reviews
Truly worthy of admiration was the great performance by the young clarinettist in Rossini, whose virtuoso work he interpreted with exceptional technical assurance and musical ardour.(B. Ucakar, in DELO, Ljubljana, 27.3.1993)... Kotar's solo playing on the clarinet was yet another of the instrumentalist's concert brilliances, ... (F. Kriznar, in DELO, Ljubljana, 9.7.1993)... The concert for bass clarinet and wind orchestra ... was performed with like mastery by Joze Kotar.´ (P. Kusar, in DNEVNIK, Ljubljana, 18.4.1996)... The soloist Joze Kotar has revealed to us a fact worthy of consideration: that an instrument which is mainly hidden in the symphony orchestra may also emerge most convincingly as a solo instrument. A virtuoso performance with a special colour and range, and a fluent ease in the sonorities.(B. Ucakar, in DELO, Ljubljana, 20.4.1996)... Joze Kotar and the percussionist Barbara Kresnik shaped the composer's sincere concept with their vigorous sound. (B. Ucakar, in DELO, Ljubljana, 4.2.1997)... This was a more than successful evening of the most outstanding clarinet music which most certainly can only be produced by a great creative name - such as Joze Kotar most certainly is. (F. Kriznar, in RADIO SLOVENIJA, Ljubljana, 5.3.1 |
