Artist description
Compelling Sounds of Mystifying Visions, Journeying through Wonderous Stories... The journey of Zeus 'N' Apollo leads us through the looking glass into the existence of a make believe freedom. Exiled from the circle of ignorance, they hold societies mirror, reflecting the masses, only to reveal our own distorted face, laughing and crying, as we... travel through the haunting echoes of reality. A relaxing trip... until we really think about it. "We... a reflection of modern frustration..." Jon-Erik Kroon, visual sensory... Rick Neufeld, audio sensory. United... Zeus 'N' Apollo. "We... oppose surrendering to the system. Without freedom, we... will no longer choose, our feelings... our experience... our creation... We... need an uninhibited approach when forced in looking at, and thinking of, the unacceptable and self-destructive practices which desensitizes us." In this complacent and apathetic world, we... need a necessary wake up call. "In basic Black & White, we... are simple. In shape and form, we... are complex." The challenge presented to Zeus 'N' Apollo interprets undisciplined silence with esoteric imagination, therefore commanding more of the participant than the visual/auditory process. "We... cannot be described... " This journey says, "Yes Alice... I see the bunnies." Quoted and Compiled by... the Viewers |

Press Reviews
ZEUS 'N' APOLLO... send a Grateful "Thank You" to Michael Allison @ The GlobalMuse.com, for the following review...You're in our head now Brother... "WOW"..."I was anxiously looking forward to this CD. The progressive rock style of Zeus 'n' Apollo borders on the experimental side of rock. This musicianship and songwriting is brilliant. The truth is, not many musicians would even attempt to write music like this. Most of them simply couldn't. This is pure genius. The mixture of spoken word, rock, electronic, and you name it, is so beautifully written, I don't have the words to explain it, much less express how it makes me feel. Each song has a story line that plays out a mini movie inside your head. The imagery that I got from this music was simply awesome. This album is nothing short of a trip! If your idea of progressive rock is Dream Theater and Kansas, then you haven't even begun to taste the beauty of true progressive music. This is absolutely beautiful, intelligent, soulful, and a few other words that I can't think of right now that could express my praise for this album. I can't think of an album that I've been so impressed with. Zeus 'n' Apollo create the music of the future, and the future of music looks great to me."- Michael Allison - THEGLOBALMUSE.COM The Rundown (rated from 1 - 5 stars)Sound Quality: *****(5 stars!!)How the music sounds. Artists with full press kits and a professional look and feel usually receive 5 stars. Originality: *****(5 stars!!)Few bands will rank high on this one, but those who do will have an original sound that is either unique or hasn't been copied a million times before. _________________________________________________________________Thank You to "Will Y" @ * http://www.LISTEN.com/ * for the following review...Despite the silly name, this duo takes itself quite seriously. Railing out against television, pollution, "young girls' boyfriends dating their mothers," and other pressing issues, they combine uber-earnest spoken word and equally passionate singing with grandiose rock backdrops. The sound of a society coming apart at the seems -- in more ways than one. Will Y._________________________________________________________________Thank You to * http://www.GarageBand.com/ * for the opportunity to be "Heard"...Thank You to all of our GarageBand reviewers!"SPLEEN" - OSAKA, JAPAN...(review: What A Weird Trip)"No Vocal Melody, But It Survives Anyway"I'm sure you've heard this before, but spoken-word in songs is always a big risk; it takes it out of the realm of "song" really and into the area of poetry. Still, this was a case where, for the most part, it worked. Maybe spoken word, then vocals and melody or some kind of chorus would have won me completely over. But, like I said, because the words were interesting -- nice idea, spoken with feeling and wit, it worked. The guitar part picked it up and kept me interested. Nice Stuff..._________________________________________________________________"FOUNDRE" - Rockford, Illinois(review: What A Weird Trip)Go to this studio to record your next project!
