Artist description The Ben Thomas band is a five piece band that plays in and around the Chicago-land area. Of the five members in the band, no two are alike. Each person brings a unique persona, style, and goal to the whole. So basically every song goes through a huge change from the time it is written to the time it is done; because of the wide range of likes and dislikes.

Musical Influences All things harmonious and good. From Jazz to old school punk, somebody in this band will like it.

Similar Artists Jars of Clay, Grant Lee Buffalo, Audio Adrenaline, Third Day, Caedmons Call, and maybe Dave Matthews. If you threw all of that into one big melting pot, it might be something like BTB.

Artist History The band started with just Ben playing around the Naperville area by himself. He started to make a name for himself and decided to branch out and add others to his music. Brian and Paul joined Ben after their former band broke up. The three of them played together for about a year before they met Hareesh and Phil. By this time they had started to record a little demo and had to come up with a name. For lack of anything that sounded inspiring to them they decided to just stick with using Bens name, since a number of people were already familiar with his music.
