Artist description
I enjoy odd time signatures and modes, and compose music for short animated films when I'm not simply composing for my own enjoyment. I have invented an addition to standard musical notation which allows note lengths to any arbitrary precision, and am currently working on a project which uses this notation. |

Artist History
Born in Calgary in 1962. Experimented with altered tape speeds & multitracking in mid- '70s. First synthesizer (analog, duophonic) 1980. Finally got access to the Electronic Music Lab at the University of Calgary in 1983 as part of studies toward a BMus (composition). Found more venues for my work during studies in Radio Production at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology 1987-89. Work has been heard in radio sounders and ads, radio plays, live theatre, television ads and filler, and in animated films. |
