Artist History When pondering how to follow up Grooveometri Vol.1, guitarist Markovic Drummond decided to take a different tack and enlisted the help of several collaborators. Writing- and business partner / keyboardist Aljay Boyd suggested he meet with LA-based vocalist and writer Sylva Morningstar. After discovering differing but complementary musical tastes, Sylva set to work, producing lyrics and vocal arrangements as quickly as Mark and Aljay could write the music! The duo also paused briefly to perform a well-recieved Valentine's night engagement at LA's Atlas Supper Club. Later in the year, with six contemporary R & B tracks with Morningstar in the can, Drummond wrapped up production on additional collaborations with spoken wordsmiths Lamar Lane and Steven Shell, as well as instrumental smooth jazz compositions to round out Grooveometri Vol.2., available on http://www.mp3.com/grooveometri and the Mark Drummond website, http://www.grooveometri.com Catch Markovic Drummond as sideman with contemporary gospel artist Donna McAfee, the LA-based soul/rock group Mike Mann and the Night Riders, and San Diego's Blood Brothers Blues Band.
