Artist description Lee Hudson is a composer/arranger/performer that writes heartfelt ballads and pop style songs. Lee recorded a CD in Luxembourg, Europe in 1998 entitled "All I Can See." His strong points are his rich ballads and catchy tunes. His song, "Welcome to My World," made it onto the Top 50 charts in Europe as listed by RTL radio and Eldoradio. Currently residing in San Diego, Lee is seeking to increase his musical knowledge and exposure. On November 11, 2000, San Diego was home to the SRO premeire of Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Match Girl," produced by Lee and co-written with lyricist Roxanne N. Rodriguez. At each performance, the house was completely packed. Plans to revive the musical in San Diego each Christmas season are underway. Lee served as chief transcriptionist for reknowned Negro Spiritual arranger/composer, Moses Hogan, for five years. One piece, "Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel?," for which Lee composed the orchestration, was performed by the Cincinnati Pops, Boston Pops, and was originally commissioned by the Boys Choir of Harlem, NY. Together, the two worked on over 40 songs, most of which were published by Hal Leonard, and enjoyed a great friendship until his sudden and tragic passing in February, 2003. With optimism and profound gratitude, Lee continues to write. Current projects include a Christmas CD tentatively titled "Christmas by Candelight" that should appear toward the end of November 2003.
