Press Reviews
Billboard Magazine: R&B "New and Noteworthy": "You may not know the name yet but if radio reacts responsibly, you'll soon be hearing the words "Chuckie Perez" buzzing about the musical landscape. Here's and artist who is capitalizing on the top 40 radio's two biggest trends: first, the song here, "I Love Your Ways," is a worthy pop/AC competitor to the best we've heard from the likes of Backstreet Boys, 98 degrees, et al. Secondly, we're talking about a Latin based artist who delivers this right-on-the-mark ballad in both English and Spanish-and yep, he's as cute as those videogenic heroes that 13-year-old America is embracing en masse. His self-penned love song showcases Perez's relaxed, commanding voice, complete with a cascade of drifting harmonies and fulfilling slick production backdrop. In all, it packs this song to the brink with just the kind of sighing emotion that is clicking at radio these days We're talking about a radio-friendly voice that could open the door for the youth movement's latest solo male hero."
