Artist description
"Destroy hypocrites and liars. All who would lead others astray from the message of life and love." This was the motto of Blood Luv. Formed in 1995, this northern Virginia band consited of four members who sought to convey christianity in an unconventional manner. Their music takes the time to point the finger at religious leaders and members of religions who hurt more than heal in our world today. The songs reflect the frustration and anger of the band, and it's views. Shortly after their '96 release, "Bitter", circumstances led the members to thier own paths, but the music still lives on. Jason and Lupe plan to record many of the songs writen outside this album for a future release. A "demo song" version cd is also in the works, showcasing live performances and the like. Lupe is now in his own band "Torrent", and Jason is working on his own solo project. This band is definitly worth listening to if you enjoy great music, and revealing messages. |

Artist History
Jason and Scott Bayne started playing their music around the christmas of 1993. After playing in their parent's basement for three years, Jason decided to look for other members to complete the band. After a month, Lupe responded to an ad which Jason had placed in several music stores in the area. Gilbert Lietz, a friend of Scott's from school, was added near the end of the recording for the "Bitter" album. The rest is history. |
