Artist History
Steve and Jason could have met on a roller coaster, hey they grew up in a town with an amusement park. They had the same 3rd grade teacher and both took an interest in her gastrointestinal misfunctions... a kinship was born. After being "fringe friends" for several years, the boys entered the mysterious world of junior high. The place where half a dozen rural schools were thrown together to experience puberty. Our protagonists happen to share their first three or four classes each day, so the friendship blossomed. Into chaos.Soon the lads were experimenting with gore effects to surprise the art teacher. And watching Cheech and Chong movies. And listening to the Beatles. Then they discovered a love for music and smoking leaves from the yard. And build fake instruments to extravegant lip-syn performances to Shout at the Devil, For Those About to Rock, and more... It was only a matter of time before the band was thrust through the loins of time and space onto the drums of local ears. The boys made tapes and more tapes. Complete with covers/jackets done by hand. This was art. After four or five years of this, the boys finally started getting laid on a regular basis and parted ways. Years later, students from their high school brought the tapes out of the dark and held them high into the light for all to see. These are a few tracks from the B-B Bros. History CD, mastered by Tard in Portland, Oregon. God save us all... Bring on the B-B Bros. the time has come. |
