    Artist History
Sidechain was formed from a small garage group that inclued Nathan and Mike, adding Buddy after the break up of the original band. Each band member comes from different musical backgrounds and mixes styles from three distinct generations of music, from the early to mid 70's to the present. Though the band is from slightly different eras their core inspiration is the same; Hendrix, Zepplin, The Who, and many others. Nathans hot Guitar licks and flashy vocals bring a unique sound to the group, while Mikes energetic Bass and Buddys smooth drums carry the rythem. The fact that Buddys tastes come from a newer generation of music(AC/DC, and Metallica) while the other two members are more keen on Steppan Wolf, and Led Zepplin, dosn't mean the group is an old style of music. It is a harmonic blend of the old and new. In live shows Sidechain covers new bands such as; Eagle Eye Cherry, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, and Orgy. But they stay true to their roots with songs from; Led Zepplin, Eric Clapton, and Pink Floyd.

    Press Reviews
"Lighter-lifting power ballads and slow-moving Grunge/Metal numbers from a self-produced Hard Rock unit. Power ballads range from variations on the theme from "Patience" to Ten Years After-like psychedelia; Metal-ish numbers effect a sinister, Alice in Chains/just-wanna-die vibe." Mike M.(listen.com)
