Artist History Following the highly publicised split with Eggboy (Jeez turned over the tapes at the gigs), Popfuture is the brain child, of wild kid Jeez Photon. "I started work with Eggboy in late 95, they employed me as tea maker and chimney sweep, with occassional duties in the coal cellar, counting coals. When we started, it seemed we had so much to live for. What really precipitated the split for me was eggboys total denial of my contribution to their sound and success. Added to which the guys were rapidly loosing the plot. Life on the road was taking its toll, as both eggboys became paranoid that the Pet Shop Boys were controlling their brains by remote control. They became convinced Neil Tennant was "playing his evil game" from a small golf buggy the boys claimed they observed from their hotel rooms and outside the gig venues. Ed began a collage, a kind of a offering to the almighty P.S.B.'s pleading that they stopped. Jonj began to paint nude murals of the Pet Shop Boys - the music was frankly, suffering".
