Artist History
Has been singing as long as he can remember. At 13 he wrote his first song "The World Together" inspired by "We are the World".
At 16 he bought his first guitar. Pedro quickly got involved with many musical groups including an accapella quartet and portuguese music band.
He was the frontman of the hard rock band "My Pet Fish Gus" with which he performed the bar circuit as a cover band.
"Glow of the Midnight Sky" and "The Arrival" were created around that time. The band split up and Pedro retired from performing.
Over the last 2 years he returned to music on a different capacity, as a "virtual rep" of the most successful online promoter in the world on MP3.com.
His artist portal site is www.music-star.com.
Pedro's passion has always been for songwriting and he hopes to release some new material in the very near future.

First off, I’ve got to say that this guy can PLAY THE GUITAR (and perhaps many other instruments on this recording, too, as he is the only artist listed)!
From the onset, you are keenly aware of how good he is. This song feels like it is primarily a vehicle for the guitar, but there ain’t nothing wrong with that. I am also sure that the lyrics are very emotional and profound; unfortunately, I had a little trouble hearing and understanding them.
[Author's Note: As it turns out, I later found that the lyrics are posted on the site and you may read them there. This is how I was eventually able to confirm the lyrics for the score below]. As stated, the lyrics are just a little tough to discern - but you probably won’t need focus so much on this because you get all you need to get by just opening yourself up to what the guitar is giving you. When you do, what you’ll find is a sensation of love lost, sadness, or a lack of hope from the chord progressions and the crying riffs. Until the break, that is.
Here, you find that this song evolves like a two act play. Act One is mellow and somewhat longing. Act Two, however, is where the energy shifts and becomes more hopeful. The bass ushers in and steadily holds the section of the song with this much more energetic feel and more aggression. Here, Pedro Costa shines with what he obviously feels the most confident with – his guitar. Go, man, go!
The entire second half of the tune is an inspiring instrumental. If you are a fan of big classic guitar then you will definitely want to check this out.
Long Story Short: Stadium rock feel, emotion, and stellar guitar playing make this a big classic rocker.
