Artist History Singing since his early childhood, Jay Steven got his first guitar back in Detroit in 1977 and within a year was composing inner-personal works. Throughout the years he found himself in many bands such as 'Anthym', 'Level Of Eleven' and 'The Mind'. It was in 1992 that Jay Steven formed the trio 'The Mind' which headlined thoughout the Detroit alternative scene for three years. In 1995 he moved to Boston where he joined the progressive rock band, 'Anamis' and played the Boston circuit. Currently Jay lives in North Hollywood where he has been playing solo acoustic shows and writing, writing, writing.
