Artist description Our names are Katrinia Adkins Bass and Doyle Adkins. We are a brother/sister team and started working on these songs this year. I wrote the songs and sing lead; Doyle plays all the instruments and sometimes accompanies me on vocals.

Artist History My brother and I grew up in a family that loved bluegrass and gospel music. Every Saturday night people would gather at our house to sing and play. Doyle learned to play guitar at an early age; then he learned to play the banjo, the mandolin, and I have a feeling he will learn to play the fiddle someday soon. He also plays bass, sings, and writes his own songs under the name "homemade". I started writing songs last year when our oldest brother began declining in his battle with pancreatic cancer. We lost him in December of last year at the age of 43. Grief expresses itself in many ways but God has truly blessed us in this creative expression. A door may close in our lives, but God always opens a window. All praise and thanks go to Him for putting us on the right path.
