Nick Teasdale is a Christian folk musician and songwriter living in London, U.K. (originally from the North of England) and over the years has played traditional and contemporary folk music for churches, pubs, clubs, weddings and TV as a hobby. Nick is basically a fiddle player but plays guitar and bouzouki to accompany songs that he has written. |

Artist History
Nick Teasdale was born in 1957 in the North of England and learnt violin at an early age playing fiddle in the Northumberland Piper's Society as well as many local festivals and competitions. Nick played regularly at Christian clubs, folk venues and halls of residence whilst studying engineering at the University of Newcastle. Since completing his first degree in 1979, Nick has worked in the power generation and process industry, completed a higher degree, played lots of folk music and come to know Christ personally. Christian folk music forms an important part of Nick's life and he is developing the web site http://www.christianfolk.net to encourage the performance of folk music and songs. |
