BR001-One HELL...is simply one of the best brutal hc/extreme metal comps. to ever come out. Whether or not you agree with the Satanic stance that this compilation comes from or not, it is impossible to argue with the fact that there is quality track after track on here. From the purely brutal Suffocation style death metal of New York's Skinless to the frantic metallic hc of Milhouse and the intensity of bands like Burial Ground and Deadeyesunder. It's all here for the heavy music fan.(retribute fanzine)This comp could possibly be the scariest thing ever released in audio form. All the songs are evil. EVIL! band like Motive, Milhouse, Deadeyesunder and Deformity make it one of the greatest comps released in recent history if not ever. You wont be disappointed, cant be actually. 17 songs in all, the first one is a little odd, not bad, but odd. The rest: Sick.(frigid ember zine)BR002-For some reason, every other review I have read of Deformity fails to accurately describe their music at all. So, I will attempt to. Bass heavy, crisp, crushing death metal greets the listener at the outset of the second track. The production's clean and clear - refreshing after listening to all that "true" black metal. The CD reminds me of Disinter's CD in many ways. The use of the higher melodies in the tunes makes them gain a blackened edge. They seem to possess a lot of technical skill musically.. and aren't wasting it sawing on one chord and blasting monotonously. The slower parts are definetly something I'd snap my neck to, at a show. I know this reference is going to be lost on 90% of you but the dual vocal style sounds like Cianide meets Carcass. They are kind of progressive - but mostly it's straight ahead, mosh, kill your mother music reminiscent of Pestilence meets Pessimist and gets ground up in a blender. HIGHLY recommended!!(necrosis mag)A brutal mix of old school death metal along with newer death metal. throw in some immolation, at the gates, cannibal corspe and decide into a blender and that is what you might get from this band. this is some ripping, brutal shit. Brutal is a over used word, but this is just that. dying, screamed vocals over powerful, earth shattering riffs that tear into your flesh. Productions rules too. a must have.(metalcore mag)BR003-Oh my god. Let it be known that these guys are back to smash your skull with demonic hardcore done like absolutely nobody else. Infernal punishment was these guys breaking up but they are back with a vengeance and I am totally psyched about it! Burial Ground started quite a few years back in Central PA. My first Burial Ground experience was on their split with Dragbody…And although Dragbody was untouchable at that time, these guys put up a pretty good fight. Well I hadn't heard anything else from them, although I was aware that they had a pretty hard-to-find CD out there somewhere. Months went by and I couldn't find it, and eventually I gave up. And then light shown upon me and I had gotten word that they were back and were going to work with Blasphemour Recordings - A totally fitting label for their dark-horizon style of hardcore. It's metal but it's hardcore but either way something about it makes it stand out in blackness. It may be the vocals, it may be the music…Who knows but who cares? This brand new five song disc digs deep into your soul and makes it seem like they just took a leave of absence to journey through the realm of hell. Pick this up or forever hold your peace. I'm damn glad to own this. They even threw on a redone "Tales Of A Soul Gone Mad" - Fuck yeah!!!(loudnet.com)
