Artist description
Yes... yet another OMB (one man band) with the assistance of a few talented friends. As you can easily infer by the name of this project, I do most of my work by the light of the moon (metaphorically speaking of course. Clear skies in Portland, OR can be rare. :-). By day I design and develop Internet software and systems for financial institutions. My music is largely in the 80-110 beats per minute zone with a passion for Jazz chord progressions, pop song structures, urban beats, and a blend of both acoustic and electronic instruments. |

Artist History
Played with several Jazz Fusion combos in the 80's while attending Mt. Hood Community College. Continued studies in software engineering led to an embedded systems development position with the Roland Group (thus the reason for my bias for Roland toys :-) Continued work through the 90's on various film, video, radio, and video game scoring projects.Works have appeared on compilation CD's and have been recognized in numerous song writing contests.Contributed to the USB MIDI specification and various other MIDI specifications.Released a solo album collection of Jazz and AAA songs in 1998 called 'West of September'. See http://www.mp3.com/mleach .Currently just having a fun time writing instrumentals for an upcoming all instrumental smooth jazz album. |
