Artist History
Band started in 1991 as Toxic Waste. Briefly changed name to Final Procedure in 1993 and finally settled on Strych-Nine in the same year. Cut the 1st album in 1993, "Cardiac Arrest", with Heat on drums, and Scott (skooge) on vocals, but did not release it. Released the 2nd album, "Lucid Visions" in 1995 with singer Scott (Skooge),and drummers Heath and Cam. Added Heathon rhythm guitar and switched drummer to Russ in 1995. Swicthed singer to Jack Witt in 1998 released the 3rd album, "Suicide 39". Cut Jack loose in 1999 and put rhythm guitartist Heath in the front. Added Juanita for backing vocals in 2000. Currently in the process of producing album #4."Lucid Visions" was similar to late '80's/early '90's metal. "Suicide 39" was '90's metal with Iron Maiden style vocals. The new stuff is uniquely Strych-Nine. |
