    Artist description
    Wordy.
    Music Style
Electronic thump-thumps and doobley bass loops under either sensitive single-coil or angry-rock-man guitars, bass and keys, with a collection of twangy jawharp, waltzy accordion, inspirational fiddle-playing, lyrical lead and backup warbling, antiquitated effects boxes and assorted toys and noise makers
    Musical Influences
Nerdy prog-rock and and slow, sad Tom Waits songs; Hi-tech Kraftwerk grooves and Neko Case doing one of those haunted country waltzes, banging another electronic box to see what sounds you can get out of it and joining in a half-drunken chorus of another salt-soaked sea shanty, standing all day in the rain to hear some cheezy funk band and sitting in a bath of smoke in the middle of the night at the Cameron, hearing piano keys crashing out the last few chords of the night.
